To close off the January club updates, www.strochsfc.com, spoke to Mark Lawson, about the merchandise department of the club, just to see how things are going on that side and what the plans are for the future.
“To start off the New Year, the Candy merch handed over £500 to the club to help with club running costs at this time of year. just to underline that EVERY penny profit from merchandise sales goes to the club, just to emphasis that every single item bought, helps.
Things have slowed down merchandise wise , hopefully just as a result of Christmas. however, four new items were ordered to try and mix things up a bit and give the fans something a bit different.
The 1%ers had asked if it was possible to get an all black “bar scarf” with a club crest so we duly obliged . Chris who is very much in touch with his feminine side also requested some pink beanie hats so these were also bought along with some pink and white bar scarfs. Black Adult hoodies with the St Roch’s skull design were also bought and only a few remain. Green kids hoodies were bought with the St Roch’s badge to hopefully cater to our younger fans.. again a few of these remain. Some t-shirt s have sold out so we shall be looking at placing another order soon for those, 1/2 dozen or so designs still in stock .
We also currently have Ceefax 1922 Junior Scottish Cup Winning team mugs, St Roch’s crest pin-badges, silk scarfs, green & white bar scarfs, pink & white bar scarfs, all black scarfs, beanies in green, black or pink, key ring bottle openers as well as items previously mentioned.
Merchandise will be on sale at every home game and can be delivered locally outwith game days if need be. As of late, we have taken great delight in supplying club merchandise orders all over Scotland, as well as the Republic of Ireland, England, Germany and even as far as Australia and the United States.
To finish off, a reminder that we are always open to any new ideas so get your suggestions in ….this is all for the fans and the club.
Thanks and happy new Year.
